Bexhill High School is an International Community Technology College in Bexhill-on-Sea with over 1,500 students and a second-site Skills Centre. The newly built, technology-forward school needed a modern telephony system to support 250 teachers and staff across two sites (previously only 30 extensions), enable hotdesking and seamless communication, and improve staff availability and efficiency.
Mitel deployed MiVoice Business with MiCollab and a range of IP phones, allowing staff to log in at any handset, keep a single number, use voicemail-to-email and record calls on demand. The solution delivered quicker responses and greater telephone availability, improved visibility into call usage and costs through reporting, and created a platform for future audio/video conferencing and wider collaboration.
