Gore Health is a 100‑person provider in remote Southland, New Zealand, operating a 20‑bed hospital plus GP, community, dental and lab services. Facing an ageing TDM telephony system with costly, time‑consuming on‑site maintenance, no failover and rising operational risk due to its distance from major IT support, the organisation needed a more reliable, cost‑effective and easy‑to‑manage communications solution.

Telesmart deployed a Mitel unified communications solution over SIP trunking on a managed fibre network, including work groups, conferencing, voicemail/Outlook integration, DECT handsets and mobile failover.
