Mint Hotels is an award‑winning, privately owned hotel group with six contemporary city‑centre properties in the UK and Amsterdam. Facing fragmented legacy phone systems at each site, the group needed a modern communications platform to improve guest services (voicemail, wake‑up calls), streamline back‑office management, boost staff efficiency and reduce intersite call costs.

Mint deployed Mitel’s MiVoice Business and MiVoice IP phones, starting in Manchester (40 IP users) with a phased migration plan for the other hotels. The IP network integrates disparate sites while protecting existing investments, cuts call costs between hotels, improves voice platform management and staff productivity, and—with hotel WiFi—enables wireless IP handsets and future mobile‑extension features for better mobility and single‑number reach.
