Make-A-Wish America, a national nonprofit with 62 local chapters and more than 27,000 volunteers, needed a modern, mobile-first communications system to support distributed employees (many working remotely) while keeping communications and travel costs low. Their existing premise-based, multi-vendor setup made rapid onboarding and seamless collaboration difficult.
Working with Mitel and Trans-West, Make-A-Wish deployed MiCloud, MiCollab and MiVoice Business to provide single-number reachability, unified messaging, and integrated audio/web conferencing on a cloud platform managed by a single administrator. The move reduced operational costs, sped repeatable chapter onboarding, standardized collaboration across all chapters, and improved overall efficiency and productivity while lowering the cost of launching new chapters.
