LTT Vending Group, a leading independent UK vending operator with depots in Leeds, Rugby and Lewes, needed to improve communications for its mobile merchandisers and technicians. Although BlackBerry email and CRM access had already boosted productivity, staff were juggling desk and mobile numbers, causing “phone tag,” missed calls and inefficient customer service—so the company sought to leverage its existing BlackBerry infrastructure to get better ROI and simplify communications.

LTT deployed BlackBerry Mobile Voice System (MVS) with Mitel MiVoice Business (implemented by Charterhouse), unifying desk phone features with BlackBerry smartphones to provide one business number, one voicemail and Wi‑Fi/PBX calling. The rollout improved the call experience, reduced missed calls, simplified user management and cut communications costs by about 50%, delivering a full return on investment in just over a year.
