InterContinental Nha Trang, a 277-room luxury beachfront hotel in Vietnam, needed to replace an aging telephony system with a robust, secure and future-proof solution that would deliver crystal-clear voice for guests, advanced call-handling for staff, and seamless integration with existing front-office and operational systems while retaining legacy analog, TDM and IP devices.
Working with a leading Vietnamese systems integrator, the hotel deployed Unify’s OpenScape 4000, providing duplex redundancy, unified support for 96 IP phones, 330 analog guest-room phones and SIP/ISDN/analog trunks, plus deep integrations with front-of-house systems. The rollout was rapid and reliable, improving staff collaboration and guest services (check-in/out, voicemail, wake-up calls), protecting prior ICT investments and creating a future-proof platform the hotel can expand with mobile handsets and new communications technologies.
