Group & Pension Administrators (GPA), a healthcare benefits administrator with offices in Dallas and San Antonio and more than one-third of staff working from home, was struggling with two separate, complex communications systems. IT wanted to stop managing hardware and needed a single, redundant communications solution that tied both offices and remote employees together, cut PRI and long‑distance costs, and allowed a seamless move from premise‑based to cloud.
GPA implemented Mitel’s MiVoice Call Recording and MiCollab cloud services and connected offices via MPLS. The result preserved premise‑level capabilities without hardware management, provided cloud backup and recovery, eliminated inter‑office toll charges, simplified provisioning of new numbers, and delivered improved redundancy, control, and lower operating costs.
