Château de Bonmont is a hotel and golf club on the banks of Lake Geneva with about 50 employees working across six buildings and extensive grounds. Its aging telephone system no longer provided full coverage, so management needed staff to be reachable anywhere on the premises, wanted simple-to-use terminals, and required more efficient customer service.

They implemented Aastra OpenCom 1000 with DECT mobile terminals, the OpenAttendant/Auto Attendant and built‑in voicemail, increasing DECT capacity (8 channels vs 4), enabling call filtering, reception/alarm display on fixed and mobile devices, and network directory management. As a result, staff can be contacted across the estate, calls are routed more efficiently to the right person, the system adapts to seasonal demand, and overall availability and customer service have improved.
