Anaheim Union High School District — one of California’s largest districts with nearly 31,000 students across 20 campuses and more than 2,200 phones — was stuck on 20 disparate, antiquated phone systems that were expensive and time-consuming to manage, lacked redundancy and scalability, and provided no unified emergency notification capabilities.

The district implemented Mitel MiVoice Connect with Emergency Gateway E911, call reporting and integrations with Microsoft Active Directory, Google G Suite and the Aeries student system. The centralized solution was deployed in nine months under budget, simplified administration, enabled click-to-dial and a district-wide directory, improved emergency response and reduced total cost of ownership.
