Gallagher, Flynn & Company, LLP is a regional accounting firm with more than 50 practitioners across Vermont and New Hampshire. They had outgrown a basic Centrex voice service that limited mobility, features and reliability—risks that could disrupt critical periods like tax season—and needed a more personalized, dependable voice network to support distributed staff and client access.

They migrated Mitel call control and applications into their data center using Mitel’s vMCD and MAS on the VMware vSphere/vCenter platform, with TwinState handling implementation and the Mitel Border Gateway for secure remote access. The move virtualized voice, consolidated 27 servers down to a few physical hosts, simplified management and backups, and delivered stronger fault tolerance, lower CapEx/OpEx, reduced service and utility costs, and improved disaster recovery—ultimately ensuring more reliable, always-on client communications.
