Nextep, a 300-person HR, payroll, and compliance company based in Norman, Oklahoma, faced a fast-growth challenge: plans to enter two new markets annually made traditional face-to-face onboarding untenable. Nextep needed a scalable, consistent training program with visibility into learner progress to shorten time-to-productivity and support aggressive hiring goals. MindTickle delivered a self-led enablement suite—microlearning, gamification, role plays, “Missions,” and manager reporting—that brought training into reps’ daily workflows and standardized messaging across regions. The results: MindTickle adoption exceeded 85% (later rising above 90%), new-hire ramp time was cut from eight weeks to four, Nextep onboarded fully virtually during 2020 and logged record sales, and managers gained clear visibility into skill gaps and performance.
