NTUC FairPrice Xtra Chooses Mobile For 7th Anniversary Contest

NTUC FairPrice Xtra, a local supermarket chain, ran a three-week "Trolley Dash" contest to celebrate its 7th anniversary and wanted to drive local families into stores and online to participate. The challenge was to build broad awareness and foot traffic around specific supermarket locations during the promotion.

Partnering with Millennial Media and Havas Media, the campaign used weekly updated rich-media banners, games- and shopping-channel targeting, and location-based targeting to reach relevant shoppers. The effort made the FairPrice Xtra site its most visited page during the flight and delivered strong engagement, reporting a 71% overall CTR while successfully driving in-store and online participation.
