Adidas “Light You Up” Mobile Campaign is a Runaway Success

Adidas promoted its “Light You Up” Penn Station light show—featuring Lionel Messi and the launch of the Adizero F50 cleat—and needed to drive local foot traffic to the event in New York City’s Penn Station.

Working with Mullen’s mediahub and Millennial Media, Adidas ran geo-targeted mobile banner ads within a 3-mile radius in the hours before the show, directing clicks to a landing page with a promo video and event details. The targeted campaign generated strong click-throughs and helped attract thousands of nearby attendees to the event.
