Merkle restructured the PPC program with proprietary tools by organizing campaigns by product category, separating match types, standardizing naming conventions, and creating “top performer” campaigns to shift budget to the best keywords. As a result, the retailer saw measurable gains, including a 21% YOY increase in sales, 19% improvement in cost efficiency, and 34% increase in conversions in the last six weeks of Q4, followed by 14% higher sales, 10% better cost efficiency, and 19% more conversions in Q1.
