Hershey’s partnered with Merkle to launch corporate gifting on its direct-to-consumer site, shop.Hersheys.com. The challenge was that business gifting orders were still handled by phone and through an outdated portal, creating delays and extra strain on the sales and customer service teams.

Merkle designed and built a streamlined gifting experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, with features like bulk address import, split purchases, multi-recipient shipping, and custom gift messages. The new shop.Hersheys.com/gifts flow let customers place large orders more easily and reduced the time Hershey’s representatives needed to fulfill orders, improving self-service and operational efficiency.
