A Mercer Mettl Case Study
Silverline Prestige School (SLP), a K‑12 school in Ghaziabad serving about 2,000 students, needed to move routine unit tests, pre‑boards and final exams online during the pandemic but lacked the infrastructure and processes to do so fairly across classes 3–12. SLP’s key challenges included supporting many question formats (MCQ, long‑form, drawing), ensuring accessibility for young students and parents on different devices, enabling faculty-led proctoring, and protecting exam integrity—so they partnered with Mercer Mettl to evaluate an online examination and proctoring solution.
Mercer Mettl implemented its Examine online examination platform with cross‑device access, QR‑code scanning for handwritten answer sheets, live proctoring training for faculty and AI proctoring (including the Credibility Index) to flag incidents. The rollout—completed with stakeholder training in about one month—delivered glitch‑free exams for close to 2,000 students (unit, half‑yearly and final exams), provided system‑generated integrity reports and >95% AI detection accuracy for suspicious behavior, and enabled SLP to continue using Mercer Mettl’s platform for future assessments.
