The Indian School of Business faced an urgent challenge when COVID-19 forced its high‑stakes term exams online: preserve the school’s long‑held honor code and academic integrity across diverse programs while managing large volumes of students, intermittent connectivity, and seamless LMS integration. To meet these needs ISB partnered with Mercer Mettl, drawing on an existing relationship and the vendor’s online exam expertise.

Mercer Mettl deployed its EXAMIN online proctoring and examination platform with AI and live/recorded proctoring, 3‑point authentication, LMS integration, and 24/7 support to replicate in‑class conditions. The solution enabled ISB to run ~20,000 assessments across full‑time and eight part‑time programs, support 1,500–1,600 concurrent test‑takers, store integrity reports in the LMS, deliver faster grading, and report no breaches of academic ethics — outcomes ISB and Mercer Mettl cite as proof of preserved exam integrity and positive stakeholder feedback.
