A Mercer Mettl Case Study
The Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) wanted to raise the quality of its incoming management students—moving beyond aptitude scores to a holistic view of aptitude, attitude and integrity—and to prevent cheating in remote exams. To address gaps in personality, communication and job-readiness, FIIB partnered with Mercer Mettl and adopted its Mettl Personality Profiler (MPP), an online assessment platform, and AI proctoring for secure remote testing.
Mercer Mettl implemented a three-part solution: MPP (86-item semantic-differential profile, normed on 6,000+ respondents), a blended assessment platform (built from a 10,000+ respondent sample) and AI proctoring (95%+ cheating-detection accuracy). The combined deployment enabled FIIB to quantitatively shortlist higher-quality candidates, generate integrity reports, inform L&D with detailed gap analyses, reduce manual effort and resource costs, and strengthen campus hiring outcomes through better-profiled, industry-ready students.
