Facilitating the creation of a strong collaborative community

Celebal Technologies, a Rajasthan‑headquartered leader in data science, big data and enterprise cloud solutions, wanted to expand its global reach, boost brand visibility, and engage top data engineers and data enthusiasts for immediate hiring. To achieve this, Celebal Technologies partnered with Mercer Mettl and leveraged Mercer Mettl’s Xathon virtual hackathon platform to convene and assess talent at scale.

Mercer Mettl provided end‑to‑end support — from ideation and platform hosting to marketing, MCQ screening, coding simulators, AI proctoring and round‑the‑clock customer support — enabling a hackathon that attracted about 9,000 global registrants (including Singapore, the US, Ireland, Europe and Australia). The initiative built a collaborative community of data professionals, helped Celebal Technologies hire multiple top data engineers across lateral and fresher roles, and ran smoothly at scale (300 simultaneous users) with Mercer Mettl’s AI proctoring achieving over 98% accuracy in detecting irregularities.
