A Mercer Mettl Case Study
ENS Brazil, a specialized insurance school serving roughly 20,000 students annually and authorized to certify insurance professionals across Brazil, faced the sudden need in 2020 to move high‑stakes, nationwide certification exams online while preserving integrity, scalability, LMS integration, logistics, and continuous support. To meet these requirements, ENS Brazil engaged Mercer Mettl for proctoring as a service and platform capabilities that could replicate its in‑person exam governance in a remote environment.
Mercer Mettl implemented MPaaS integrated into ENS Brazil’s LMS, providing 3‑point candidate authentication, live one‑to‑one and one‑to‑many proctoring, AI flagging (over 98% accuracy), auto‑generated integrity reports, and round‑the‑clock support. The intervention enabled ENS Brazil to deliver approximately 55,000 two‑hour tests since May 2020 (over 100,000 hours of proctoring), certify 55,000 students, rapidly identify and disqualify cheaters with forensic evidence, and maintain secure, transparent certification processes.
