The American Multinational Technology Company, with about 6,500 employees in India across six business units, wanted to run an online event to strengthen its employer brand, engage the right talent and ensure all registered candidates could take tests simultaneously. They partnered with Mercer Mettl to design a hackathon using Mercer Mettl’s coding simulators, auto-graded simulator-based assessments, plagiarism checker and code-complexity scoring.

Mercer Mettl delivered an end-to-end hackathon—handling ideation, communications and platform scale (supporting 4.5 lakh requests in 2 hours)—which drove 22,000 registrations within five days, created a pipeline of ~500 potential hires and enabled the company to extend 500 offers. The event strengthened the employer brand and generated follow-on global opportunities with the tech giant.
