Analytics for 600 employees with different competency frameworks at each level

India Leading E-commerce Company, headquartered in Bangalore and operating across categories like apparel, books and electronics, needed an organization‑wide skill‑gap analysis across 12 business units and 600 employees, each governed by different competency frameworks. Translating those frameworks into objective, multi‑faceted assessments (behavioural, cognitive and domain) while incorporating self and manager feedback and producing domain‑specific content under tight timelines was proving difficult, so Mercer Mettl was engaged to support the effort using products such as the Mettl Personality Profiler, Cognitive Assessment Battery and Mettl 360 Degree feedback.

Mercer Mettl curated 65 assessments across teams with three proficiency levels, combined self‑ and manager‑feedback, and produced 52 integrated reports using the Mettl Assessment Battery suite and Mettl 360 Degree feedback. The results gave HRBPs and the L&D team clear, actionable insight into individual and BU‑level skill gaps, fed directly into targeted learning plans and role‑fit decisions, and helped prepare a future‑ready workforce covering 600 employees across 12 business units.
