Leading Online Travel Company, a major Indian online travel platform with over 4 million customers and 61,000+ contracted hotels, needed a modern way to evaluate and develop leadership across multiple lines of business. They faced difficulty aligning leadership competencies with organizational culture and lacked a suitable assessment composition to identify development areas. To address this, they engaged Mercer Mettl and used the Mettl Personality Profiler plus cognitive tools (Abstract Reasoning, Critical Thinking, Numerical Ability) to modernize their leadership evaluation.

Mercer Mettl’s experts customized assessment modules, administered tests to 123 candidates across 15 LOBs, and produced psychometric reports benchmarked to organizational standards. The assessments identified the top three and bottom three competencies for each profile, enabling data-driven L&D plans, benchmarking of leader performance, and identification of high-potential leaders; the process also fostered peer-to-peer learning and provided clear, measurable insights for future leadership development.
