Florida Hospital Foundation, the philanthropic arm supporting Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL, wanted to increase donor involvement and charitable contributions by helping lay leaders for the Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) more clearly communicate the Foundation’s value to donors, board prospects, community leaders, grateful patients, and physicians. Mediafly was engaged to refine the Foundation’s messaging and provide tools that translate the Foundation’s mission into concise, compelling value stories.
Mediafly applied its CLOSE methodology and produced tailored content — including infographics and executive-summary collateral — that equipped board members to tell a focused, patient-centered story and quantify impact. The work made CVI communications more consistent and persuasive, and the approach is now being replicated across the Cancer and Children’s Foundations, demonstrating measurable organizational adoption and improved effectiveness of fundraising messaging.
