North Central Healthcare, a regional provider of specialized care in central Wisconsin, faced declining candidate responsiveness to traditional emails and phone calls, making timely recruitment and scheduling difficult. To address this, they adopted Medallia Concierge’s text messaging solution (Zingle) to modernize candidate and employee communication.
Medallia Concierge implemented segmented, automated SMS workflows for interview reminders, onboarding/orientation notices, employee health checks and a referral program (using the keyword "REFER"), allowing HR to send personalized messages to dozens at once (e.g., 50 candidates) and get faster replies than email. The result was noticeably higher candidate response rates, reduced manual effort and errors, easier rescheduling and improved recruitment efficiency.
