Voiceable and Matterport Bring In-Store Experiences to Online Shoppers

Voiceable wanted to make online retail feel more like an in-store shopping experience, since eCommerce can often feel impersonal and limit real-time guidance for shoppers. Using Matterport digital twins and the Matterport API and SDK, Voiceable created a way for sales agents to speak with customers by voice and video directly on a retailer’s website and guide them through virtual showrooms.

Matterport helped Voiceable connect live agents to digital twins so they could answer questions, point shoppers to products, and support upselling and cross-selling without taking over the customer’s screen. The impact was strong: Matterport and Voiceable report online conversion rose from 2% to 7.8%, average order value increased 41% for customers assisted by an agent, and customer satisfaction improved.
