SEACOMP Provides a New Way for Clients and Prospects to Tour Manufacturing Facilities with Matterport

SEACOMP, an electronic product manufacturer serving industrial, medical, and consumer product customers, needed a safe and effective way to show its Dong Guan, China, manufacturing facility to clients and prospects when in-person visits were no longer possible. Traditional photos and video could not fully capture the detail of its processes, layout, and equipment, so SEACOMP turned to Matterport and its Capture Services to create an immersive alternative.

Matterport scanned SEACOMP’s offices and factory to produce accurate 3D digital twins with walkthroughs and Mattertags, helping the company support sales, quality assurance, and employee training. The result was a better customer experience, earlier conversion of prospects, and an estimated $250,000 in annual travel savings for employees and customers, while also improving onboarding and factory planning.
