Kapow, an online marketplace for unique event venues and bookable experiences, wanted to improve its booking experience and stand out from competitors. The company needed to accelerate the booking process, reduce walkthrough requests, and generate better-qualified leads for property managers. To do this, Kapow used Matterport and its Pro Camera to add immersive 3D content to property listing pages.
Matterport helped Kapow roll out immersive media quickly across many listings, supported by a social campaign around cross-country 3D scanning of its best spaces. The results were strong: Kapow saw 4.5x more time spent on site and 2x more page views on Kapow.com, while also improving client satisfaction and speeding up booking decisions. Matterport also gave stakeholders useful analytics to track success.
