GUS Technologies, an Italian software company serving fashion and luxury brands, needed a faster, more flexible way to connect buyers and sellers during the pandemic. Using Matterport and its Portfolio B2B e-commerce platform, GUS set out to create virtual showrooms that could replace in-person visits and support global wholesale sales.

Matterport helped GUS build immersive 3D digital twins of showrooms using the Matterport Pro2 camera, APIs, and SDK, with product tags, live video chat, and ERP/ecommerce integration. The results included virtual showrooms captured and published in just three days, streamlined ordering workflows, and 24/7 buyer access—creating a permanent sales channel that accelerates time-to-market and helps increase sales.
