Gilbane, a leading integrated construction and real estate development firm, needed a faster way to manage design-build work across many sites while reducing travel, improving remote collaboration, and keeping projects moving during the pandemic. Gilbane used Matterport digital twins and Pro2 3D cameras to document job sites, review conditions virtually, and support teams and clients across its programs.

Matterport helped Gilbane streamline site reviews, inspections, and handoffs with accurate digital replicas, measurement tools, notes, and Procore integration. The results included 168 working hours saved in one four-hour virtual meeting, more than 1,000 hours saved by eliminating travel and site visits to 300 sites, and overall time and cost savings of 25% to 30% across design-build phases.
