CRB Uses Matterport to Complete Crucial Pharmaceutical Facilities Projects During the Covid-19 Pandemic

CRB, a sustainable engineering, architecture, construction, and consulting firm serving biotech and pharmaceutical clients, needed a way to keep critical facilities projects moving during the COVID-19 pandemic when site visits and in-person assessments were limited. The company was looking for a more immersive, remote-friendly 3D solution, and chose Matterport Pro2 and Matterport BIM File to capture accurate site conditions and share them with teams working remotely.

Matterport provided high-resolution digital twins, virtual tours, and point cloud data that CRB could use in design, coordination, and BIM workflows. With Matterport, CRB kept projects on schedule and safely completed work during the pandemic, cut travel-related costs by one-third, and sped up planning by as much as three weeks. Matterport also helped CRB create a new service for ongoing asset management.
