Arup, a global architecture and engineering firm, needed a faster way to launch new projects because its modelers were often tied up and couldn’t immediately start BIM work. The company used Matterport digital twins and the Matterport BIM Files service, along with MatterPak bundles and Matterport Pro2/Leica BLK360 capture devices, to reduce delays in creating accurate base models.

Matterport implemented an easy online ordering workflow that converts captured spatial data into Revit-ready .RVT files at LOD 200, giving Arup a solid starting point for architectural and structural work. The result was quicker project initiation, more responsive client service, faster internal kickoffs, and earlier, more inspirational client engagement, while saving time on manual modeling steps.
