Aetos Imaging Partners with Matterport to Cut Building Engineer Training Time in Half

Aetos Imaging, a partner to Sustainable Investment Group, helps architects, engineers, and designers meet LEED and building operations goals, but needed a better way to organize equipment data, training, and remote collaboration across complex facilities. Using Matterport Pro2 cameras and Matterport digital twins, Aetos Imaging built Aetos Operate to capture mechanical rooms and provide a 3D, remotely accessible view of building systems.

Matterport enabled Aetos Imaging to create a platform with equipment histories, manuals, CMMS integration, remote 3D walkthroughs, and interactive training modules. The solution helped onboard and upskill more than 140 engineers, cut engineer training time by 50 percent, and reduce annual energy costs by 4 percent, while also lowering travel time and expenses through remote inspections and collaboration.
