Sisense, a business intelligence provider that helps organizations prepare, analyze, and visualize large, disparate datasets, needed to improve the performance of its digital advertising. Sisense implemented Marketo Web Retargeting, building segments by industry and buying-cycle stage and syncing known-lead data into Google AdWords to serve personalized ads (free trials, educational webinars, and product comparison content) at each stage. The targeted approach accelerated lead flow and increased effectiveness: overall conversions rose 13x, cost per conversion fell 10x, and new-lead conversion rates reached 40%.
