Boar’s Head Resort, a historic Charlottesville, VA resort, needed to drive more phone bookings and prove the effectiveness of its audio advertising. Working with AudioGO and vendor Marchex, the resort deployed Marchex Call Tracking numbers and Call Analytics to better measure responses to campaigns for golf, dining, and resort stays and to ensure ad spend was delivering results.
Marchex provided unique, easy-to-remember vanity tracking numbers (e.g., 888‑GOLF‑BHR) and call analytics that revealed when calls occurred, call duration, caller location and audience demographics. Using Marchex’s tools, Boar’s Head saw call activity triple versus the original numbers and gained insights to optimize targeting and return on ad spend, enabling smarter campaign decisions and improved performance.
