Wisconsin School District Upgrades Security

The Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) faced a significant security challenge, operating an outdated and fragmented video surveillance system that lacked coverage in many of its 43 buildings. Following national tragedies, the district sought a comprehensive upgrade to enhance safety. They turned to vendor March Networks to implement a unified video surveillance solution powered by the vendor's Command Enterprise software and 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs.

March Networks provided a state-of-the-art solution, installing approximately 1,500 cameras across all district buildings. The results were highly successful, with the new system acting as a powerful deterrent that dramatically reduced vandalism. The network allows for centralized management and provides local police departments with secure remote access, significantly improving response capabilities. The district also valued the solution for its ease of use, lack of annual licensing fees, and the robust support provided by March Networks.
