Video Surveillance System Sets Standard for Veterans Affairs Health Care Centers

The VA St. Louis Health Care System, a health care organization serving veterans, needed a state-of-the-art video surveillance system to provide comprehensive security across its two campuses during a major renovation. They partnered with vendor March Networks, through integrator PASS Security, to replace their outdated analog system and address risks like vandalism and theft.

March Networks implemented a solution featuring their 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs and MegaPX IP cameras, allowing the integration of new and legacy equipment. The results included vastly improved video quality, simplified incident investigation with easy evidence retrieval, and systems capable of storing 90 days of footage. The solution was so effective that it is now considered the standard for VA medical centers, and the customer has expanded the system to over 20 recorders and 300 cameras.
