A March Networks Case Study

Preview of the UNIQLO Case Study

UNIQLO scales retail video surveillance across 50 stores with March Networks

UNIQLO, a global apparel retailer, faced the challenge of scaling its loss prevention and risk management systems to support an ambitious expansion into Australia. The existing video surveillance at its flagship store was insufficient for this growth. To address this, UNIQLO, with a recommendation from a security integrator, selected a video surveillance solution from vendor March Networks, specifically its Searchlight for Retail software.

March Networks implemented a system using its Searchlight for Retail software, which integrates video with point-of-sale data for rapid theft investigation, along with its 8532 NVRs and MegaPX 360 Indoor Dome cameras. This solution allowed the loss prevention team to quickly investigate exception reports and view video from any Australian store remotely. The scalable system efficiently supports UNIQLO's planned growth, with the technology impressing staff so much that plans are in place to replace the older system in the flagship store and expand the solution's use to merchandising oversight.
