Preview of the Tommy Bahama Case Study

Tommy Bahama saves hours a day with March Networks at 65 stores

Tommy Bahama, an island-inspired retail brand, needed a new video surveillance solution to replace an outdated system. The challenge, led by Director of Loss Prevention Mark Anderson, was to find a reliable, bandwidth-friendly system that could integrate with existing analog and new IP cameras while providing centralized management and advanced tools for faster loss prevention investigations. The retailer selected a solution from March Networks after a six-month evaluation.

The implemented solution from March Networks included Searchlight for Retail software, 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs, and IP cameras, all managed by Command Enterprise software. This provided Tommy Bahama with rapid, store-wide video searches integrated with point-of-sale data, drastically reducing investigation times from hours to minutes. According to the company, the March Networks system saves hours per day, improves the quality of evidence for recoveries, and has been deployed across 65 stores with more planned.
