Preview of the FirstBank & Trust Case Study

Texas Bank Deploys State-of-the-Art Video Surveillance

FirstBank & Trust, a community bank in Lubbock, Texas, faced a challenge with its outdated and fragmented video surveillance. It used three separate systems that offered limited capacity for high-definition cameras, insufficient storage, and an inability to synchronously view video across its five branches. The bank partnered with vendor March Networks, working with integrator Smith Hamilton, to deploy a modern solution.

March Networks implemented a system using its 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs, IP cameras, and Command video management software. This solution provided significantly increased storage capacity (up to 120 days of video), hybrid functionality to use existing analog cameras, and innovative features for remote management and support. The results included enhanced compliance monitoring, the ability for live multi-site vault auditing, and greater overall security, leaving the bank very pleased with the system's performance and functionality.
