Case Study: Cenex achieves stronger loss prevention with March Networks POS-integrated video surveillance

A March Networks Case Study

Preview of the Cenex Case Study

Super-Sized C-store Opts for POS Integration

The Cenex gas station and C-store in Tioga, operated by Farmer's Union Oil, faced significant security challenges due to its large size and high volume of transactions in a booming oil town. The customer required a video surveillance solution from March Networks that could minimize shrinkage by integrating with their Passport point-of-sale system to efficiently investigate suspicious transactions and fraud.

March Networks implemented its 8000 Series NVRs and Retail Transaction Investigation (RTI) software, integrated with 45 Axis IP cameras. This solution allowed management to instantly click from a transaction report to the corresponding high-definition video. The March Networks system proved its value immediately, providing evidence that led to the successful investigation of several incidents within the first two months of operation, significantly streamlining loss prevention.
