A March Networks Case Study
Toronto Community Housing, the largest social housing provider in Canada, faced the immense challenge of securing 400 high-rise buildings and townhouse complexes spread across the city. Their decentralized video surveillance system required staff to travel to each site to manage equipment and review footage, which was inefficient and time-consuming. To address this, they partnered with vendor March Networks to upgrade their security infrastructure.
March Networks implemented a centralized solution using its Command Enterprise video management software and 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs. This allowed for remote system management, expedited investigations with advanced search tools, and proactive health monitoring of the vast camera network. The solution significantly increased operational efficiency, saved staff time, and directly contributed to public safety, as evidenced by the swift resolution of a major incident where police used the clear footage to identify and apprehend a suspect within hours.
