A March Networks Case Study

Preview of the Coborn’s Case Study

Mid-West Food Retailer’s Video Surveillance System Evolves Over Decade-Long Relationship with March Networks

Coborn's Inc., a multi-banner grocery retailer operating 118 stores, was seeking to evolve its video surveillance system without incurring the high cost and disruption of completely replacing its existing infrastructure. The company partnered with vendor March Networks to find a compatible and scalable solution for its long-term security and operational needs.

The solution implemented was March Networks' interoperable platform, including their 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs and Command Enterprise video management software. This allowed Coborn's to gradually upgrade from analog to a hybrid system over a decade, integrating new technology with old without a "forklift" replacement. The results included centralized management of over 200 recorders, expanded camera coverage, and new operational uses for the video beyond loss prevention. March Networks' solution provided proven reliability, backward compatibility, and significant long-term value, maximizing the retailer's investment.
