Kendall County Women's Shelter upgrades 26-camera security with March Networks

The Kendall County Women's Shelter, located in Boerne, Texas, faced a significant challenge with its outdated and failing video surveillance system. With several cameras non-operational and poor quality black-and-white video, the shelter required a modern security upgrade to protect its vulnerable residents from potential threats. The shelter partnered with vendor March Networks and its certified partner, Terra Bridge Innovations in Technology, to implement a new solution using the March Networks 8000 Series Hybrid NVR powered by Command Enterprise Software.

March Networks provided a state-of-the-art video surveillance system that included several new IP cameras, such as five-megapixel 360° models. A key feature of the solution was the Command Mobile app, which granted the CEO remote access to live and archived video from any location, a critical requirement for managing security from her off-site office. The system's ease of use allowed 16 of the shelter's 24 employees to operate it effectively. The implementation has resulted in enhanced safety for residents and staff, and while there have been no serious security breaches, the system provides crucial peace of mind and is also used for internal procedural guidance. The shelter reported being very satisfied with the solution provided by March Networks and Terra Bridge.
