Gentry Public Schools, a rural school district in Arkansas, faced the challenge of enhancing student safety and security across its four campuses. The district sought a modern video surveillance solution to proactively address potential incidents. They partnered with vendor March Networks after a recommendation from a solution provider.

March Networks implemented a cutting-edge solution featuring their 8000 Series hybrid recorders, Command Enterprise video management software, IP cameras, and Cloud service. This allowed administrators and a school resource officer to view live and recorded video remotely on mobile devices. The system, which uses 90 cameras, has created a safer environment for 1,400 students and streamlined incident review. The project was supported unanimously by the school board and the community.
