A March Networks Case Study

Preview of the Fifth Third Bank Case Study

Fifth Third Bank upgrades to 12,000 March Networks cameras across 1,300 branches

Fifth Third Bank, a major U.S. financial institution, undertook a major project to modernize its video surveillance system across its many branches and facilities. The bank partnered with vendor March Networks to upgrade from its older system to a new, enterprise-level IP video solution to improve security and provide high-quality video evidence.

March Networks implemented a solution consisting of approximately 12,000 cameras, including MegaPX WDR MiniDome Z IP and Analog WDR Indoor Dome models, and 1,600 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs. This provided law enforcement with exceptionally clear video for identifying suspects, leading to more apprehensions. The results for Fifth Third Bank included a significantly longer product lifecycle for their investment and the ability to share the system with other departments like facilities and retail for additional business uses, which also helped secure funding for the project.
