Farmer’s Union Oil secures 36,000-square-foot CENEX store with March Networks POS-integrated video

The customer, Farmer’s Union Oil, faced significant risks of point-of-sale fraud and shrinkage at its large, new CENEX convenience store in Tioga, North Dakota. To address this challenge, they worked with vendor March Networks and their Certified Solution Provider, Dakota Security, to implement a video surveillance solution integrated with their Passport POS system, utilizing March Networks' Retail Transaction Investigation software.

The solution from March Networks involved installing 45 Axis IP cameras connected to 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs and their Visual Intelligence software suite. This allowed management to instantly click through from suspicious transaction reports to the corresponding high-definition video. The system proved its value quickly, providing evidence for several investigations within the first two months and saving significant time for managers reviewing transactions.
