Marine Federal Credit Union, serving military personnel and affiliates across three states, faced the challenge of upgrading its vulnerable and unreliable Windows-based video surveillance system. The credit union needed a secure, robust solution to protect its members' assets and required a system with better reliability and easier maintenance. They partnered with vendor March Networks, selecting their Linux-based 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs for the upgrade.

March Networks implemented a solution featuring their secure Linux operating system, 8732 and 8704 Series NVRs, and health monitoring functionality. This provided Marine Federal with a reliable system featuring mirrored drives for redundancy and automatic email alerts for maintenance issues. The solution also established a path for future enhancements like IP cameras and Financial Transaction Integration software, enabling more efficient fraud investigation and a phased, budget-friendly approach to technological advancement.
