A March Networks Case Study
CAFAM, a Colombian family compensation fund, faced the challenge of securing and providing management oversight for a geographically dispersed chain of 175 pharmacies it acquired. Lacking the staff for physical supervision at each location, they sought a technological solution. They selected a video surveillance solution from March Networks after an exhaustive evaluation of various systems.
March Networks implemented a system using its 3204 and 8704 Hybrid Networked Video Recorders and analog cameras at each pharmacy. The solution provided reliable, high-quality video even with low bandwidth and integrated with alarms for security. This gave CAFAM’s Bogota headquarters live monitoring capabilities for security, transaction oversight, and customer service adherence. The March Networks system reduced downtime with easily replaceable parts and provides up to eight months of video archive, far exceeding their 30-day retention standard.
