CAFAM secures 175 pharmacies with March Networks

CAFAM, a Colombian pharmacy chain, faced the challenge of securing and providing management oversight for its 175 dispersed locations without the staff to physically monitor each site. They selected a video surveillance solution from March Networks to address both security and administrative needs, moving away from the costly alternative of hiring security guards for every pharmacy.

March Networks implemented its Hybrid Networked Video Recorders (3204 and 8704 models) and analog cameras across all locations. The solution provided reliable, high-quality video despite low bandwidth challenges and integrated with panic alarms and sensors. This gave CAFAM's Bogota monitoring center live oversight and up to eight months of video archive, far exceeding their 30-day retention standard. The March Networks system ensured proper transaction processing and customer service adherence, with future plans to integrate with point-of-sale systems using Searchlight for Retail software.
